Cookie policy

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. We also use the browser's local storage, which works in a similar way but is not sent with every request to the server.

We group them by what they do rather than by the technology behind them, because that is what matters to you.

We store a value called km-consent in the browser's local storage. It holds your own choice from the cookie banner, so you are not asked again on every visit.

It is the only thing we store without your consent, for the simple reason that it is the consent. It stays until you change your choice or clear the browser's storage.

If you consent, we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. They let us see how the site is used in aggregate, such as which pages are visited and how visitors found their way here.

The cookies are set by Google, not by us. They include ga and ga_ followed by a measurement id, and Google states a lifetime of up to two years.

If you do not consent, the scripts are not loaded at all. They are blocked before they run, rather than running and then declining to store anything.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. The change takes effect immediately.

You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser's own settings. You will then be asked again the next time you visit.

If you have questions about how we handle cookies or personal data, you are welcome to contact us at info@xltraction.com.
